On October 18, 2007 I went to Meet Up with Kurt Hulst In South bend indiana.
I do not remember the times, so I cannot post them.
From South bend we proceded to watch a couple cells that Ended up Fizzleing out.
We then proceded South To Rochester Indiana where we watched a nice Supercell drop a nice Wall cloud, and Funnel Cloud, However the We had Trees Obscureing our view of the base so We could not Tell if there was a tornado on the ground.
I called the NWS in Northern indiana Via the spotter line and reported to them that I was seeing Rotation and Funnel on the south side of Rochester, and that I had Trees Obscuring OUr view of the bottom of th e funnel so I could not confirm the presence of a Tornado.
NWS Told me to keep an eye on the cell, and to keep them informed.
WE then Started the process toward Our respective homes. WE went south of Warsaw where we saw another awsome wall cloud and funnel lit up by the city lights.
The cell quickly got ahead of up due to poor road setup. Kurt and I then seperated at highway 6 and highway 33
We did miss the nappanee Tornado But that is ok sence I had to be at work eairly in the morning.
